about us

Brian Boru offers a true, welcoming Irish experience in the heart of Scandinavia. Irish-inspired décor, a perfectly-pulled pint of fresh Guinness and some of that good old-fashioned Irish craic makes a visit to Brian Boru a great way to spend an afternoon with friends and family. Which often leads to an evening of great fun and laughter for locals, ex-pats and tourists alike!

Our concept takes the pub experience to a whole different level of excellence. Unlike other pubs and themed restaurants in Scandinavia, Brian Boru Irish Pubs will consistently deliver an authentic consumer experience. By combining authentically accurate interior design with great drink options, food, music, sport, entertainment and most of all – people. Guests are immersed in another world of warmth, conversation, laughter and fun. What the Irish call ‘the craic’…. real fun!

The History

BRIAN BORU IRISH PUB has strong links to history and the life of the man himself, Brian Boru.

Brian Boru’s army defeated the Vikings and ended their reign in Ireland at the Battle of Clontarf in 1014. It is said that the Brian Boru Harp was played at the start of the battle, the same Harp that we use in our logo today!

Brian Boru was a winner and an Irishman and it is these elements that allow us to create a strong concept that has Irish & Viking heritage embedded in it.

This concept takes the link from history, back to Brian Boru and the Vikings and focuses on the link between the battle history & victory with sport victory and graphic display and all things Irish. Great moments in sports, will make up part of this concept to tie it in with the primary marketing activities.
